About Our Club

The Beaconsfield Garden Club is a group of gardeners from communities in and near the City of Beaconsfield, an on-island suburb of Montréal, Québec, Canada.  Our club objective is to promote interest and knowledge in gardening among its members.

The club meets on the second Wednesday of each month (excluding June to August). The meetings feature invited speakers who give talks and share their knowledge on various gardening-related subjects.

Our regular venue, the Herb Linder Annex will be undergoing renovations until January so we will instead be meeting in the Beaconsfield City Council Chamber (also at 303 Beaconsfield Boulevard). Use the Library entrance from the car park, turn right and the Chamber is on your left   Members are requested to arrive by about 7:15 pm.  The meetings begin at 7:30 pm and are held in English.

The club offers mentoring to our members. A consultation with several of our more experienced members can be set up on request, by emailing us (via our Contact Us page) or by speaking to an exec member at one of our monthly sessions.

The club also organizes other potential events such as bus tours and garden socials depending on the interest expressed by the members.

The cost of meetings and most events is included in the membership fee. New members are welcomed throughout the year.
