With the existing COVID-19 situation, in-person sessions will continue to be on hold until further notice. During this time we will be offering several Zoom/virtual sessions. Please check our Events list.
To all our members, Keep Safe & Stay Well!
BGC is delighted to partner with one of our members who is a “ranger” for the David Suzuki Butterflyway Project. This volunteer-led movement aims to grow more habitat for bees and butterflies in neighborhoods throughout Canada.
We encourage all members and readers to support this initiative through the choices you make for your gardens. Read about it here: Butterflyway Project
The Beaconsfield Garden Club is a club where members come together and share their passion for gardening, and at the same time develop friendships over this common interest. BGC is based in the city of Beaconsfield, Quebec, but warmly welcomes gardeners from other communities as well.
The club meets on the second Wednesday of each month (excluding June to August). The meetings feature invited speakers who give talks and share their knowledge on various gardening-related subjects.
Unless otherwise indicated, meetings are in the Herb Linder Lawn Bowling Annex of the Beaconsfield Town H03 all, 3Beaconsfield Blvd. The Annex is at the western end of the building, accessible from the parking lot at the back. Members are requested to arrive by 7:15. The meetings begin at 7:30.
The club offers mentoring to our members. A consultation with several of our more experienced members can be set up on request, by emailing us (via our Contact Us page) or by speaking to an exec member at one of our monthly sessions.
The club also organizes other potential events such as bus tours and garden socials depending on the interest expressed by the members.
The cost of meetings and most events is included in the membership fee. New members are welcomed throughout the year.
