The Beaconsfield Garden Club is a club where members come together and share their passion for gardening, and at the same time develop friendships over this common interest. We range from seasoned gardeners to those just starting out, ready to share our questions and experiences with each other.
BGC is based in the city of Beaconsfield, Quebec, but warmly welcomes gardeners from other communities as well.
The club meets on the second Wednesday of each month (excluding June to August). The meetings feature invited speakers who give talks and share their knowledge on various gardening-related subjects.
Unless otherwise indicated, meetings are in the Herb Linder Lawn Bowling Annex, 303 Beaconsfield Blvd. The Annex is at the western end of the building, accessible from the parking lot at the back. Members are requested to arrive by 7:15. The meetings begin at 7:30.
The club offers mentoring to our members. A consultation with several of our more experienced members can be set up on request, by emailing us (via our Contact Us page) or by speaking to an exec member at one of our monthly sessions.
The club also organizes other potential events such as bus tours and garden socials depending on the interest expressed by the members.
The cost of meetings and most events is included in the membership fee. New members are welcomed throughout the year.
