Welcome to Our Site!

The Beaconsfield Garden Club is a club where members come together and share their passion for gardening, and at the same time develop friendships over this common interest.  We range from seasoned gardeners to those just starting out, ready to share our questions and experiences with each other.

BGC is based in the city of Beaconsfield, Quebec but warmly welcomes gardeners from other communities as well.

The club meets on the second Wednesday of each month (excluding January and June-August). The meetings feature invited speakers who give talks and share their knowledge on various gardening-related subjects. We also organize activities such as garden tours and outings, an annual photo contest and occasional workshops.

Unless otherwise indicated, meetings are held in the Herb Linder Annex, 303 Beaconsfield Blvd.  The Annex is at the western end of the building, accessible from the parking lot at the back.  Meetings begin at 7:30 but we suggest that members arrive by 7:15.

The club also offers mentoring to new members. A consultation with several of our more experienced members can be set up on request, by emailing us (via our Contact Us page) or by speaking to an exec member at one of our monthly sessions.

The cost of meetings and most events is included in the membership fee. New members are welcomed throughout the year.

For more information on becoming a member, please see the Membership page.

The lesson I have thoroughly learnt, and wish to pass on to others, is to know the enduring happiness that the love of a garden gives.
