BGC Bus Tour

June 18, 2011 8:00am - 6:00pm

A day trip to visit gardens on the South Shore.

Bus leaves the Beaconsfield Library parking lot at 8 am, Saturday June 18, and returns between 6 and 7 pm.

Price: $65 (bring your own box lunch).

Last day for members registration is May 15th.  After May 15th registration will be open to the public.

  • Jardins et Des Lys, Verchères
    1890 Victorian house with 25,000 sq. ft. garden.  Pond, gazebo, vines, roses, clematis. “One of the best gardens.” — Julie Boudreau.
  • Pépinière Abbotsford, St-Paul-d’Abbotsford
    Great nursery.
  • Allée Royale, Collège Mont Sacré Coeur, Granby
    The Horticultural Society of Granby established this beautiful  garden, nourished by the Brome ducks!  Unusual plants. too!
  • Bleu Lavande, Fitch Bay
    Lots of lavender! Learn the history of lavender and how to extract the essence. Products for sale.
  • Roses des Champs, Ste-Catherine-de-Hatley
    Lots and lots of roses, old and new. 3000 plants in 850 varieties, all beautiful.  History of roses on guided tour. Products for sale.
